“I was lucky enough to join Melissa on the Tallows Beach retreat this year. This was my first ever retreat so I was very hopeful to see a transformation of some kind in me or my practice. Melissa was an excellent guide, very warm and calmly guided us through a series of back bending classes with a peak pose being wheel pose. During the week we practiced a combination of both yin and yang classes which seemed to both strengthen the body/mind but also relax and revive. And just like that ! last day, I surprised myself and made it into wheel pose. Now that was a transformation, I’ve never been able to get there before. I left feeling very grateful to have connected with some lovely humans, ate some truly amazing food and experienced a major shift in my practice. Looking forward to the next Retreat.
