We invite you to start your new year with us in the most wholesome way - rested, nourished, with a steady mind, and open heart.
Saturday 10th January, in Elwood, Melbourne.
3:00-5:30PM
Join Yoga Teacher Melissa Mai and Musician Christian Dimarco for a 2.5-hour event curated to allow any residue from 2025 to be released, recalibrate your energy, and reconnect you with your inner guidance that will lead you into 2026 with calm and clarity.
This journey blends:
Pranayama to calm the mind and support your Prana (vital life force) to flow freely in your body.
(Very) Slow Flow Yoga with intentional space between shapes and long, grounding holds. Practising Yoga in this way supports you to release stagnancy in the body, and have you feeling open and rejuvenated physically, whilst maintaining a beautiful steadiness and calm in the mind.
Live Intuitive Soundscape from Christian, woven seamlessly through the entire practice to support our layer by layer journey inward.
Extended Signature Sound Journey in Savasana to settle deeply into rest and renewal with the healing vibrations of the ethnic flutes, didjeridu, drums, guitar, and otherworldly voice. These instruments are played in a specific way to impact your physical, mental and energetic bodies.
Guided Meditation to cultivate gratitude, inner alignment and ‘right’ intentions as we open to the year ahead.
Space for journalling to make note of insights, reflections, ideas and intentions.

About the Facilitators:
Melissa Mai - Melissa is a Yoga & Embodiment Teacher and has been teaching yoga for 12 years since her return from India in 2013. It was here she completed her Yoga Teacher Training with Swami Govindananda. Practising a full spectrum yoga practise in the ashram, offered Melissa a connection to her innate essence - the part of her (and us all) that is unchanging, and inherently whole. Her style of teaching is slow, steady, and heart felt.
‘I don’t care about how you look; all I care about is how you feel. Within every asana (yoga posture) is an experience to be felt. Grounded, connected, humble, alive, vulnerable’.
Christian Dimarco - Christian has been facilitating sound journeys and meditations for over a decade from the knowledge gained researching and practicing sound therapy. Christian’s vast collection of musical instruments range from didjeridu, ethnic flutes, handpan, singing bowls, percussion, vocals and Spanish guitar. Weaving together ethereal music and primal sounds he has developed an experiential journey into sound and breath to help people enter deeper states of awareness, inner wisdom and empowerment to self-healing. His philosophy is to inspire peace and love through his music, knowing that music traverses all languages and connects us all.
